She lives in Michigan.. La Bonne Vache (The Good Cow) is a little restaurant in the south of France. It takes its name from and is famous for its boeuf à la mode, a delicious beef stew. One day Pierre meets a visitor who is on his way to eat at the restaurant. His experience at La Bonne Vache could bring great honor to the restaurant

"Great for restaurant people" according to Michael Scherzberg. I checked this book out at my local library just for kicks, and after reading it to my son I knew I'd have to buy it. It's a great story about a family whose restaurant is visited by the Michelin Guide and the meal they cook.. "I was concerned with the fact that the boy in" according to J. Gray. I was concerned with the fact that the boy in this book approaches a car driven by a stranger to give him directions. The boy actually puts his hand in the car window and "leaned in" to the point that he could see papers in the car and read them. A parent might want to point out to a young reader that this is unwise.
