"Mystery of the Vanished Gold" according to Johanna. Whenever I travel, I always enjoy reading books about the places I am visiting. Vanished Gold is a bonus because it takes place in a place I have lived! The story takes the reader through a fantastic romp through the neighborhoods of Dallas. Gar Garcia's (from Murder on the Skyride , also by Joe Hewitt) son, Hank is the leader in this story about a fortune that was stolen from a local bank and seemingly went into thin air. There are plenty of characters to keep the pace moving. I learned a lot about establishing fo. Martha Wallis said Mensan editor goofs. This story is so poorly written, I couidn't even finish it. I don't believe the Mensa editor who recommended this book read it. The author must have been a friend of his, because, certainly, the Mensan editor possesses better judgement, If he read the book I don't believe it would have been advertised in the Mensa Magazine. If, indeed, he did read the book and approved it, the editor needs to find a different job. I wasted my money on this book.
