DESCRIPTION:

Black Pearl said Living Consequences. This book was an easy read and contains some lessons that many young adults could stand to learn. I think that it could easily open up dialog between teens and parents, helping both sides understand some of he concerns that the other may have. I can imagine that there are teens today that face some of the same hard choices and tough situations faced by the teenage characters in this book. A few adults might even see themselves in the adult characters and how they react or handle the situations that each family unit faces.. Good Theme But Unrealistic Being too quick to apologize and too ready to accept another's behavior, the characters in Living Consequences were plastic at times. It's been my experience that Christians are less likely to forgive than the main characters within these pages, and more likely to condemn. I was startled by the "who cares" attitude of Marques' parents when learning that his 17-year old girlfriend Shimone is pregnant. The only reason I gave it three stars is because it had me interested enough to want to know how the story played out. While forgiveness is suppose to be the theme of this book, it was less than realistic.. Wonderful for Christian teens! I'm 17 and I really loved this book. It really expressed what teens are going though sexually, especially Christians. I loved how Nevaeh broke up with Ronald after he tried to have sex with her, realizing that she needed to focus on God more. Of course I was equally glad when they got back together, Ronald more serious about his relationship with God and Nevaeh.LOVED Corey! man I hope I find a guy like him! The story had alot of drama and good times, and I really enjoyed the relationship between Shimone and her boyfriends parents. Great book!
