Avid Leo Reader avid leo reader This is my first time reading a book by this author. I picked up the book from my local library. The story did pull me in and I was caught up in this fairytale life of Heiress. Of course fairytales dont always have happy endings. We find the main character "Heiress" being swept off her feet by her knight in shining armor "King". Heiress is catapulted into a life of divine royalty and no expense is spared. Yet the facade of happiness comes with a price. Her lovely palace is filled with nothing but lies, fake promises and pain in order to be with her ultimate love King. Now Heiress must explo. Alexis Nicole never fails! I've read each of Alexis' books. Her writing gets better each time I read it. I love the way she captures her characters and you get to know them so well that you love them or hate them as if you really know them. Her latest book, Strange Addiction, is wonderfully written. It was a captivating read and kept me intrigued from beginning to end. I look forward to reading her future works. I'm a fan!. It was a story that has been told before, but the presentation of the story and character(to me) were well crafted. I opened the book and was immediately drawn into the story. The story was filled with emotion and heart. It had some great lesson and points about not losing ones self in doing things for others. I loved that. It was a strong message throughout the entire book. And there was a good ending as well. I rated it 4 stars because it slightly predictable.
