Not for the true beginner reader My daughters love the stories, but the reading level is definitely NOT beginner. I'd say perfect for a learner that has already mastered the basics, but too difficult to use to teach learning. Too many compound and multi-syllable words. These will be great about 6-12 months from now.. Nice collection, good value A nice collection of 16 individual books.
