This book has something for everyone, from the new to the experienced crime analyst. I was provided a courtesy copy of this book and was astounded by it! Having used it extensively, I would have gladly paid the asking price for it and highly recommend the book for any crime analyst using ArcGIS. The format of the material presented is clear and concise. I am not especially adept at self learning but found the organization of the book an. Vague Been struggling through this book for the past 7 weeks. The data and exercise materials only match about 50% of the time. Exercise materials are sometimes like the tutorials but not really. Going to be happy to be done with the course that I'm using this book for. My feedback to the University will be that if you are spending money on this book you should call ESRI and get your money back.
