The story is expansive and well detailed; the characters are complex and beautifully developed. I have long been a fan of "The Forbidden Kingdom" and as I read the story I could envision some of the more fantastical scenes of flying warriors fighting in brutal battles against evil kings. The author was able to join the mightiest heroes from multiple . I loved that the character who eventually brings together all the Jared C. I don't typically read saga-type novels and fantasy, but this book captivated me from beginning to end. I could not put it down. It's suspenseful and unpredictable.
