It was a wonderful exploration of object relations psychoanalysis and introduction to a wide range of hitherto unknown and newly found exciting authors. I loved this book and am so glad to see it available in kindle edition. This is a wonderful cross section.. "Excellent compendium" according to N. Richman. Scharff has compiled a collection of abridged articles, which with his introductions to them, serve as a good overview in Object Relations Theory for the beginning student.
